Possible Glitch in Registration Process?

I was contacted by a friend that he is unable to register for the 2011 Catholic New Media Awards because of some kind of technical glitch. Perhaps there is a similar situation with other people trying to register on this site?

Stephen sent via email the following message: "I have tried over & over again to register to vote - constant demand for a pssword I have not used....there must be a fault. If you have any advice, I want to vote."

sorry

We've been having trouble with spam and the comments, so I haven't checking these comments as diligently as I should.

Email me at {myusername}@{myusername}.net and we'll see if we can fix it. (I don't need spammers getting my email address, so substitue that.

Nominees are mostly EWTN/Register

It is interesting that most of the nominees are tied if not directly then one degree off of EWTN and NC Register, as are the core constituents of the new catholic media. Are these "awards" really just a front for marketing the "shows" for this large media group?

No affiliation

The nomination process is completely open. As the person that handled the process of setting up the ballots, I can guarantee that neither EWTN or NC Register had any influence in this process. I believe that the popularity of these sites are the sole reason for so many of those sites showing up.

I am completely independent of any blog, podcast, or video blog that was nominated. I don't even keep a public site for myself anymore.
